Making a Comet

Education and Public Outreach

One of the most enjoyable aspects of being a scientific researcher is when we get a chance to teach others about the work we do and share the excitement and wonder of exploring the universe. I try to reach out to the community and educational centers in a number ways, both as a lecturer and as a participant in science fairs and presentations.

If you are interested in learning more about my work, or astronomy or astrobiology in general, please don't hesitate to write!

FameLab Astrobiology

I recently participated in a science communication competition at NASA Headquarters called FameLab Astrobiology, where I gave a 3-minute introduction to how we study the atmospheres of transiting planets.
